The KAST Card is a Visa card from KAST for personal use. Legally it is a credit card: payments run on a credit line secured by your deposited balance, so you can only spend up to what you hold. Deposited stablecoins are shown as a USD balance and card transactions are billed in USD. KAST holds the assets with a custodian partner (custodial). The card issuer is Third National; the contracting entity, KAST Tech, is registered in Anjouan (Comoros).
Plans and fees
- There are three membership plans: Standard, Premium and Private. Standard has no membership fee; Premium and Private are billed yearly, with no monthly billing option. See the plan table for the exact amounts.
- Cards come as virtual, physical (plastic) and metal. Standard members get two cards included; additional Standard virtual cards are charged. Standard members pay 40.00 USD – 40.00 USD to ship a physical card; for Premium and Private, physical cards are included.
- Foreign exchange fee on non-USD transactions: up to 1.75 %, depending on country of residence and transaction.
- ATM withdrawals (physical card only): 2 % + 3.00 USD.
- Accounts with no activity for 12 months are charged a monthly inactivity fee of 1.00 USD.
Top-up
- Supported stablecoin deposits carry no KAST fee (blockchain network fees still apply) and are credited to the USD balance at 0 % spread. Other crypto deposits are converted automatically with a token-dependent fee shown in the app.
- Supported assets include BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, PYUSD, SOL, XRP and other tokens across networks such as Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Bitcoin, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base and TON.
- Bank transfers (ACH, FedWire, SWIFT, SEPA) are possible, each with its own fee.
Rewards: USD cashback from 1.5 % (Standard) up to 3 % (Private), each with monthly spending caps.
Using the card: Apple Pay and Google Pay, contactless payment and ATM withdrawals. You can set lower limits yourself in the app.
Availability and KYC: The list of supported residence countries is only shown in the app. US citizens are excluded from this non-US programme. The card requires KAST Level 2 verification (ID document and liveness check); a KYC-free card is not offered. Proof of address (Level 3) is only needed for USD/EUR account details and payouts.
