Stablecoin-card spending has reached $1.195 billion in October, according to Paymentscan data reviewed on October 28. The month-to-date figure is below September’s record $1.231 billion, but October is not yet complete, so the current numbers do not establish a final month-over-month decline.
The monthly “spends only” view also records 11.50 million transactions and 344,618 active addresses for October. September had 11.86 million transactions and 322,310 active addresses. Spending and transaction counts have therefore slowed, while the number of active addresses has continued to increase.
RedotPay leads the October program ranking with $369 million in volume, followed by EtherFi at $122.5 million and KAST at $106.1 million. Across the programs covered by the dataset, cumulative card volume stands at $13.69 billion.
Paymentscan says the monthly view accounts for 30 of 32 tracked programs and includes offchain data. It also notes that RedotPay’s spend figures are self-reported, as are BFinance’s offchain figures, and that some flows may be missing for certain programs. These methodology caveats matter when comparing individual providers.
ChainCatcher reported the slower October momentum on October 28. The data concerns usage rather than card pricing or availability; it does not indicate changes to RedotPay or KAST card terms.
