Coinbase Card is a custodial Visa debit card for personal use, issued by Pathward, N.A., Member FDIC. It is available to eligible Coinbase customers residing in the US, except Hawaii, and can be used as a virtual or physical card with contactless payments and ATM withdrawals.

Users select USD or a supported crypto asset as their preferred spending currency and can change that selection. When crypto is selected, Coinbase sells the asset and uses the proceeds to fund purchases in USD. USDC is among the assets named in Coinbase’s published card information. The card can also be funded through a linked bank account or paycheck deposits into Coinbase.

Optional crypto rewards are available to eligible US card users. The reward rate is variable, so the current rate must be checked in the Coinbase app; no staking requirement applies. Coinbase requires identity verification for the card account, including personal, address, tax identification, and source-of-funds information. Phone and email support are available.
